The forecast for today was "July Hot." And it was. Left work about 1:00 pm and rode the mountain bike down Legacy for one last time this month. Got home and the thermometer said 92.

Deposited a check then off to the Farmington job to get the marble man going. While I'm this close I decided to take a spin down Legacy. 2 miles into that ride it started to rain and by the time I'd turned around and returned to the Sub, the sun was out and looking mighty clear. So turned around again and this time made it all the way to the end and back.

Finally got up the nerve to get back in the saddle. But with the big fat tires. Headed to Legacy after work and road from Farmington Train Station to the end of the Legacy trail and back. No accidents.......

Sheetrockers did not finish as promised so I found myself out of work today. Decided to make a quick bike ride before going to Camp Aspen Ridge to bring home Landon. Thought I'd go the easier route too and borrowed Carrie's bike again. From Farmington to No Salt Lake via Legacy Parkway. About a half a mile from the southern end, loose gravel with skinny tires and reaching for a phone was too much and down I went. Bloodied both lips, broke my front tooth off at the gums and tiny scratched on my leg. Turned around and returned to the Suburban and then the dentist's office.

After the morning getting the job running, I grabbed the available (road) bike from my garage and rode the Legacy Parkway. Average speed was 17.6 mph. Finished in less than 1 hour 25 minutes. Them mountain bikes are a lot harder to pedal.

It was raining at Willard Bay tonight but went anyway. Rode around the dike. The back half was so thick with bugs that it made it very tough to continue. Took about 2.5 hours to ride from the Rail Trail head and around the bay.

I got the sheetrockers started, bought and built 2 sets of shutters, and then went out to the Legacy Parkway and rode my bike from one end to the other. In less than 2 hours !

Went out to Willard Bay this afternoon and rode around it on the dike. The roads are worst now than last week due to the recent rains.
